Xanthorrhoea johnsonii, known as the Grass Tree, or Johnsons Grass Tree is a large plant in the genus Xanthorrhoea.[1] Found in eastern Australia. The trunk can grow to 5 metres tall.
Named in honour of the eminent Australian botanist, L.A.S.Johnson. It is found north of Singleton, New South Wales.
